Very late post : Stockholm Trip

last post 'bout Korea

pictures can explain better how I tried my best to not change a family-vacation into a-girl-gone-crazy-while-shopping-in-South-Korea-vacation .... and I'll be lying if I write I didn't shop that much ....

picture above is H&M Store in MyeongDong, Seoul designed by UN Design Studio, the building facade is kinda interesting but there's to much street vendor I couldn't take any decent picture... and two pictures below are in Gyeongbok Palace. I guess this is gonna be my last post about South-Korea-Trip, I always wrote that I'm gonna post this and that (esp. after holiday) and ended up post random thing from my cellphone camera ... such a lazy ass I am ...
Anyway summer is seriously here and I'm concentrating to get my WHOLE skin tan, since I wore too much long-sleeves on spring and didn't put any sunscreen in my skin, I ended up get a taned face... I start wandering if people get scared to see a pale Asian girl with brown head walking around @__@

first dinner, we were so tired and simply looking for dinner in a random restaurant near our hotel neighborhood

turn out they only serves Ramen, I like it though

We spent the first half-day in Seoul in the main train station, lost in translation while trying to buy a Korail Pass, and then we went to Dongdaemun. 2nd day exploring Seoul, went to Shinchon. Mission : Hello Kitty Cafe!

Had lunch in Hyundae Mall Food Court and after that we keep looking around and asking people for Hello Kitty Cafe, it was rainy cold windy day so we decided for an afternoon coffee first, we lost our hope to found Hello Kitty Cafe - and suprisingly did found the cafe..

here it goes, the cute cappucino and green tea latte .... drank my latte with straw of course, I have no heart to mess the Kitty face

a random corner in Shinchon, as usual cuteness overload everywhere

aaah how I miss Korea, gotta save some money and get back there someday.
ps: I've bought ticket for the next Autumn trip - I'm very very very excited for the upcoming trip..

cherry blossom getaway

Flew to South Korea four weeks ago and stayed there for fifteen days.. and I have to say that South Korea was one of my greatest journey ever.. the food, the overcuteness everywhere, the fashion, the traditional architecture, and the cherry blossom.. the country is definitely a place I want to revisit.

ps: the last picture with bubble tea was last Sunday here in S. I'm having my normal school life again now and if I'm not too lazy Korea Photobomb are coming in the next post.

time-out and re-decor

since last month or so my daily life was controlled by my agenda, moving my ass from one place to another .... put my study on the top priority .... simply trying to be a perfectionist (but not the bitchy and skinny one, the nice one) Today is the first day after more than one month that my agenda is empty, yeah baby nothing to execute .... I cooked lunch and took a nap .... took shower around 5 pm and slowly doing some unimportant things. Taking a break never feels this good before.

pictures :
kinda re-decorating my room
new baby from urban outifitters, tea set
bday gift flower and the yellow one is from ikea
finally cuddling around with those fluffy blankets
new paper lampion (room re-decor) and pale like a cheese toes
weekly schedule that forces me to be in a relationship with headache

as the University workloads are getting crazier each day, I'm having more and more difficulties to differentiate between weekdays and weekend. It's feels the same! Yet I should say that I'm happy, very happy. Period.

Pays d'Appenzell

was in Appenzeller, Switzerland last Thursday .... actually went there to visit a carpenter's workshop, and ended up as one of the nicest day-trip ever made. The panorama was simply magnificent .... dreamlike and idyllic. All the home interior pictures are taken inside the original Appenzeller timber house, built approximately 200 years ago.

had birthday last Monday and spent the day get in touch with my family and friends (thanks to phone and internet) and of course unable to take a rest from assignment. The whole week is too perfect to describe, everything just went well and nice .... the important presentation .... the birthday rendezvous .... the talk with girlfriend until 4 am .... the afternoon in rustic balcony .... the fly inside my glass ... the mini music concert .... and the silent moments, feels like found the balance that's simply indescribable.

quiche leftover

cooked salmon broccoli prawn quiche for dinner last night, went to campus this morning, lost my voice thanks to heavy cough and wild weekend, went back home and ate dinners leftover, stayed in bedroom for hours in the afternoon, slowly but sure translating and typing a paper about Sumatra, sat in the living room this evening talking with the boys. An ordinary day is nice, not happy yet not unhappy, simply ordinary.

ps : don't mind the red dot, it's just chili sauce that I can't live without.

beside the fact that the Gipsy in Lisboa are like
aggressive hyenas pickpocketing from tourist , I like Lisboa .... it's not beautifully beautiful .... the city has it owns indescribable character ..... between rustic and old ...... yet pastel facades and and feminine flower motives tiles are everywhere.

That's it - all the spring travel series.
Now : UNIVEERRRRSSHHHITTTYY! ;)

the spain capital

were in Madrid around last month and spent 3 sunny days there. I like Madrid, I should say. Architecture in Madrid is somehow adorable .... the building scale .... the golden ratio windows all over the town (not only on the old building, the new buildings also religiously keep the golden section ratio) .... and also their Zapateria (shoe store it is, haha)

the pale feet

the random cute store

the very fave name of mine, Adrian

I've explored Andalucia region and been to Madrid yet still haven't seen Barcelona. It's just exactly like saving the best for the last, right?
